FINAL BOATING SAFETY COURSE FOR 2023
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary announces registration is now open for our final boating safety class for the 2023 season. “Boat America” will be taught on line September 11-14 from 6:30 to 8:30 each evening. Take you boating safety class from the comfort of your home with live instructors via the ZOOM format. Remember, as of January 1, 2024, all boat operators born after January 1, 1978 are required to complete a boater safety course before operating their vessel. All “jet ski” operators regardless of age must take a boating safety course and be a minimum of 14 years old. “Boat America” fulfills this requirement.
Preregistration is required and closes on September 5th. Tuition is $35.00 per person with family rates and youth scholarships available. To register email [email protected] or call 315-605-8041.
