Life is changing very quickly for me! It's all good stuff!😊But, I have been hired as the business coordinator at the Corpus Christi Parish in Waterville and I start Monday, 5/11! So, I need to change the timeline for closing my shop. From now till the end of May, I will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only. I will be in the shop in the evening each weekday to try and wrap things up, so you might catch me there then. Feel free to call or message me to check. If I can get it all done by the end of May, then that will be my close date.

Hey everyone! Monette here to tell you that I have made a big decision! After seeing a huge downturn in sales in 2025, I have decided to close my shop. The financial picture is really only a part of the whole: increasingly, I find that my heart and my interests are being pulled in other directions. And really, this little shop on the Kennebec was always about heart! It's the reason I started it 7 years ago, and it's what kept me going through a pandemic, floods, and several other uncertainties. What an adventure it's been! I have loved doing this. I treasure the friendships I have made! Being a part of this special community of Hallowell has been a privilege and a joy.

So, the goal is to close up by the end of June. To that end, I'm hoping that many of my loyal customers and friends will come in and help me to clear out my inventory before then! You'll see the bargains increasing as the deadline draws near! If you have a gift certificate, please come in and spend it while you can!
