The very first importer to give us the time of day way back when we were nobodies, JP Bourgeois has always been the definition of a true partner, but more importantly, a dear friend and longtime supporter of The Community Tap.

JP has spent decades bringing exceptional, sustainably farmed, and small-batch European w**es to American tables,championing independent family growers across France, Spain, and beyond. On Wednesday, November 4, JP will be back at North Main for an evening of great w**e, genuine storytelling, and tasty pairings from the Tap kitchen.

We will be pouring our way through a curated flight of his favorite handcrafted imports—bottles that over-deliver on terroir and character—while JP shares the stories of the people, vineyards, and cellars behind every glass.

Y'all wanna see some of the breweries who'll be pouring at this year's Fest?

We've got a list of participating producers to show you, plus designated driver tickets are live, and we're giving away a pair of general admission tickets to celebrate!

On Saturday, November 7th, the Travelers Rest B**r & C***r Fest returns to downtown TR. We’re gathering an incredible group of regional and international brewers, c***r makers, and low-intervention producers for an afternoon of unlimited sips, good food, and great tunes.

We’ve got more drinks for the fest walking through the door ever day! Swipe through to see our current list of breweries and c***ries ➡️

New this year: Designated Driver tickets are now available for $15. If someone in your crew is holding down the keys for the afternoon, they get access to the festival grounds, food trucks, music, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverage stations.

Crisp autumn air calls for comfort in a glass.

For tonight’s W**e Flight Wednesday at The Community Tap Trailside, the crew pulled three distinct European reds built for cozy fall evenings:

· Tâcherons Pinot Noir — Bright red cherry, wild berries, and gentle warming spice with a silky, delicate finish.

· Ca’ del Baio Barbera d’Alba ‘Paolina’ — Deep, juicy dark plums, ripe black cherries, and that signature lively Italian acidity that begs for food.

· Domaine la Guicharde Côtes du Rhône Rouge — Rich blackberry, savory dried herbs, cracked black pepper, and rustic warmth.

Flights are available from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Make a night of it with dinner from our neighbors around The Commons.

We’ve got another big, (and very spooky) week ahead of us at the Tap!

First up is a Halloween double feature: our Q***r Night Halloween Party (with live music by Wade Razor) at TCT Trailside on Thursday, and an all-day Halloween celebration at TCT Travelers Rest on Saturday, with trick-or-treating for the kiddos from 3pm ‘til 5pm.

Next up at N. Main is our Meet the Artist reception with Calvin Blassingame, where you can say hello to our current featured artist while enjoying complimentary snacks from the Tap Kitchen. Then on Sunday, we’re wrapping up the week with a Sunday Supper kitchen takeover with Peachy (aka Chef Sydney Taylor!).

Oh, and in case you missed it: TCT N. Main is now serving up hot dogs every Wednesday through Saturday, in addition to our regular bar menu. Good b**r, fine w**e, and hot dogs... what more do you need?

This Saturday, we’re throwing a Halloween Party at TCT Travelers Rest. We’ll have seasonal pours on tap, spooky vibes in the taproom, and trick-or-treating for the kiddos.

Pull up a chair, grab a cold b**r or w**e, and get spooky with us. If you’re bringing the kids in costume for candy, make sure to hit the sweet spot between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

We are just TWO WEEKS AWAY from our Fall Young Entrepreneurs Market!

This bi-annual market is one of our favorite traditions at the Tap!. It gives local kids a real platform to practice their business skills, build a business plan, and sell goods and services they created themselves.

For you? It means getting some of your holiday shopping done early, while supporting local kids. Expect tables full of handmade jewelry, original artwork, pet treats, home decor, baked goods, holiday gifts, and plenty more—with nothing priced over $20. Table fees from the vendors go directly to support our community partners over at Project Host.

Come out, grab a drink, bring plenty of cash (most vendors also take Venmo/PayPal, but best to play it safe!), and support the hardest-working young makers in town.
