It was a somber occasion as Mike and I secured the doors for the final time. Following the sale of the factory in Palestine, all efforts to sustain operations proved futile. We are grateful for the unwavering support from our friends and the community. We are delighted to have revived it for the past five years, and regret it couldn't be longer.

With a heavy heart, I am compelled to share some difficult news. As some of you may have read, the paper reported that the Palestine location could not be restored, and as a result, they will no longer produce fruit cakes, pies, chocolates. They have ceased operations on the Mary of Puddin Hill side, and now only bake bread and pastries. It is truly saddening to witness. Once the pies, fruit cakes, and chocolates are gone, this will be all.
