It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Charles “Scott” Parent. Scott passed away peacefully at home on April 3rd, surrounded by family. Scott had many roles in life, including devoted husband, father, grandfather, police officer, and proud store owner. He and his wife, Carole, opened “Scotty’s” Cedar Lake Grocery back in 1987, building more than just a store—they truly built a community here in Greenbush. Scott’s kindness, humor, and hard-working spirit touched everyone who walked through the doors. He’ll be remembered for his generosity, great stories, and of course, his famous donuts. We’re so grateful for the love and memories he shared with all of us. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this unsurmountable loss.
