Summer is in full gear in GVL. Fishing on the lake is good. The weather has been so nice. Big foot and Buddy( the Golden retriever, who is now 14 and as most of you know was the store greeter for years, back promoting the town) getting first ever Big foot festival going. Boats on the lake waiting, looking so peaceful.

Look what we almost lost. If we didn’t have our Post Office,General Store,Restaurant, Coffee shop and Social Club. Wow! We still could if they are not supported by our community. I had great food. Great service every where, with friendly smiles every where today. The prices are better than most places down the hill. If you didn’t get a chance to support our hard working neighbors, please do today and every time you come up. Your dollars go directly back into supporting the community. GVL is a Gem. Let’s help it stay that way. 😊❤️

Today is support your local business day. In a small often isolated town, our businesses are super important. The PO, General store, BD cafe, reimagined Maltshop comming soon, our lake and waterboards along with the Community Alliance and Museum are invaluable assets to our community. Please give your kind words of encouragement and spend money in GVL. It is very hard for a business to survive in such a small community. No dollars Will go more directly to supporting the lives we all cherish here.

Pot luck to celebrate God and Firefighters for saving our town. If not for a change in weather and there work Green Valley would have been lost. Line fire 9/24.

Outside my building in Green Valley Lake. God bless these guys. We have been on pens and needles the last week. We were so afraid our community and the entire mountain was going up in flames. There tireless work has turned the tide and we now think we are saved. 30,000 acres burned only one home lost. I’m can not express how Thankful I am.
