President Obama continues campaigning in Ohio and Pennsylvania and then heads back to the White House to sign the highway bill this afternoon. If you're one of the lucky ones heading to a campaign event today, MAKE SURE you tell the president toVOID Section 100122 of the highway bill. He has done similar signing statements in the past where he "interprets" certain provisions in a way that his Administration essentially ignores Congress. Section 100122 is an unconstitutional attack on free enterprise and punishes small business with an arbitrary reclassification.

Tell the President: “When you sign the highway bill H.R. 4348, please issue a signing statement to make Section 100122 null and void. It’s nothing more than a favor to the Big To***co companies, it will close my business and people will lose their jobs immediately! I’m a retailer, not a manufacturer. This isn’t good government. It looks like Friday July 6th will be our last day to run our "Roll Your Own" machine. Please stop in today Thursday July 5th to make your smokes. We are open until p.m. and will stay open later if needed. We will be open tomorrow Friday July 6th from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will also stay open later if needed. We will have to shut our machine down by 11:59 p.m. on Friday July 6th. We hope everyone can come in and make a few rolls. We have numberous items on sale also-lighters 5 for $1.00, smoke holders, candles, incense, etc... Hope to see you there!! Also if you get a chance please send President Obama a message asking him to issue a signing statement to the Transportation Bill making SECTION 100122 NULL AND VOID. Thank you for all your support, we appreciate each and everyone of you and have really enjoyed our time here, we will miss all of you!!

As you probably know, Congress just passed a massive highway funding bill that included an amendment that would classify RYO retailers across the country as federally licensed “to***co manufacturers.”
This legislation was pushed by Big To***co and is an extreme overreach of government power that infringes on the rights of RYO customers and will shut down small businesses and eliminate jobs nationwide.
By signing the petition at your local store, you’ve taken the first step -- but we need your help again.
President Barack Obama will be on a bus tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania later this week, and we want you to ask his office to issue a signing statement to make Section 100122 of the highway bill null and void.

For those that may not have heard… there was a petition started on the "We the people" page of the White House.

Please take a minute to sign the petition. For this to be really effective we need to get 150 signatures to may it publicly searchable, currently count is 134.

I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People,
a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your
name to mine? If this petition gets 25,000 signatures by July 30, 2012, the

We will be operating our regualr hours this week including the 4th of July. We are open today - SUNDAY from 10-4 and will be open MONDAY through FRIDAY 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hopefully the President doesn't sign the transportation bill and we can stay open longer than this week.
