FREE wine tasting on the Graham downtown square
Saturday 1-3pm
*****
Les Pouches Saumur

Join us today on America's largest downtown square in Graham, Texas, for our FREE weekly wine tasting. Today, we are getting geared up for summer with an amazing value white wine that is sure to please.

Fresh and wildly drinkable. Les Pouches Saumur Chenin Blanc bursts with grilled pineapple, nectarine, a dash of white pepper, and a streak of chalky minerality that keeps everything bright and energetic. The acidity offers just enough texture for seafood, goat cheese, or an easy evening on the patio. 🥂.

One of the more common questions we are asked is "how MUCH whiskey (ie-spirits) can an American citizen distill at home legally?"

And the answer is ZERO. 0% is legal to distill at home.

Now, you can make wine and beer at home because they are simply fermented and not DISTILLED, which is a process of boiling a fermented liquid to capture the alcohol vapors and cooling them so they turn back into a liquid and thus become a distilled spirit like vodka.

Why is homebrewing legal but home distilling is not? Well, that's a very good question, and one that may soon be answered based on a recent court decision. The short answer: it's dangerous. The shorter answer: it's hard to tax.

🌶️🎉 BIG CINCO NEWS, GRAHAM! 🎉🌶️

Graham Wines is thrilled to sponsor the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary’s Catholic Church as they bring something truly special to Festival de Cinco de Mayo de Graham 2026:

🔥 The famous St. Mary’s Sausage, located directly in front of Graham Wines!! 🔥

That’s right. The same legendary sausage that Graham folks look forward to every November at the annual St Mary's Sausage Fest will make a rare festival appearance at Festival de Cinco de Mayo de Graham this year! Look for booth #25 on the west side of the square.

This is not just festival food. This is Graham tradition and one of the most beloved local flavors in town, all coming together for a very special day on the downtown square.

We could not feel more excited to help make this happen. Come celebrate Cinco, support the Knights of Columbus, and enjoy a Graham favorite that usually only comes around once a year.

🌮🎶🎉 Festival de Cinco de Mayo de Graham 2026 just got even better.

Molino di Sant’Antimo Rosso di Montalcino

Bright and expressive with red cherry, wild strawberry, and a touch of dried cranberry. Subtle notes of earth, leather, and a hint of spice round it out, giving it that classic Tuscan character. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and smooth tannins, it stays lively from start to finish. There's a lovely earthy red rose aroma, perfect for your Easter holiday

Think of this as Brunello’s more approachable cousin. Same Sangiovese grape, same region, just a little more relaxed and ready to enjoy right now.

This one shines with pasta in red sauce, grilled chicken, pizza, or anything with tomato and herbs. Also a great match for charcuterie if you’re keeping things simple with an elegant sip every time.

We are sampling two absolutely delicious Italian wines from the Abruzzo region in east central Italy.

Contesa Pecorino – crisp and lifted with citrus, green apple, and a touch of wild herbs… bright acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

Contesa Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – dark cherry, plum, and a hint of spice… medium-bodied with soft tannins and an easy, crowd-pleasing finish.

Same location at 506 Oak Street in Graham, just 90 years difference. The Palace Theatre was one of three movie theaters in Graham on Oak Street, joining The National and The Liberty during the wonderful days of cinema in Graham. The Palace was built by Toad Leon and was a fixture on the square for many years. It may be hard to believe, but in the 1920s and 1930s, there were six movie theaters in Graham.
