I want to take a moment to thank everyone for 50 wonderful years at Bob’s Stop & Shop. The support, kindness, and memories we’ve shared over the years mean more to me than I can put into words.

Yes, we do have insurance, but after much thought, I have decided not to rebuild. At 90 years young, I feel that it is time for me to retire and begin this next chapter of my life.

I truly appreciate all of the generous offers for clothing and other items, but at this time, those things are not needed.

As of right now, we do not have anything set up for monetary donations, however there will be a gathering in the future, and I will be sure to share the details once everything is figured out.

Thank you all again for the overwhelming words of encouragement, kindness, and support. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and for the 50 amazing years of memories at Bob’s Stop & Shop. I love you all as God loves us all. -Bob

The night of September 13th, Bobs was burning down. I am absolutely sick to my stomach. It does not even seem real. I remember the first day I walked into Bobs when we moved up here in 2017. I was in the back of the line at his store and yelled up asking if he needed help. Of course he said yes 😂 from that day on we formed a friendship which turned him into family. His kids even joked and called me little sister. I worked there for 5 years with my toddlers in tow. They would come with me, watch paw patrol, eat snacks and even go to work when Bob had a job for them to do. They grew up there, working right along side Bob and I. Memories that will never be forgotten. Juniper continued to work there after I started working at the bank. We are so devastated and heartbroken but we are so grateful that Bob made it out with minor injuries. Send prayers. Send love.
