ONE WEEK REMAINING to renew/register those retail permits! Make sure your permits remain active so you can legally sell alcohol in North Carolina. Renewals/registrations and payments can be done online. The ABC Permittee Portal can be found here: https://epay.abc.nc.gov/

Governor Stein has declared April as Alcohol Awareness Month in North Carolina. Alcohol Awareness Month represents an opportunity to educate the public about alcohol use disorder (AUD) and its harmful effects on health and society. The Governor’s proclamation recognizes the North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Commission for promoting a responsible approach to consumption, generating revenue that is distributed back to the community. Additionally, the ABC Commission’s Talk it Out NC campaign provides messaging about the risks associated with underage drinking and provides prevention resources to parents to Start the Conversation about underage drinking prevention.

The Wayne County ABC provide a service to the citizens of Wayne County by controlling the sale of spirituous liquor while simultaneously generating revenue for our local governments. The Wayne County ABC Board is self-sufficient and a separate entity of the County of Wayne.
