Role Description The Cashier role at Z1 Xpress is a full-time, on-site position located in Manchester, NH.
Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, processing cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately, and providing receipts and change as needed. The Cashier will assist customers with product inquiries, maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and restock small items near the register as required. Additional tasks may include monitoring inventory at the front of the store, following store policies and procedures, and supporting overall store operations as directed by leadership. This role requires consistent punctuality, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering friendly, efficient service throughout each shift.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service, with the ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous and helpful approach to assisting customers and coworkers.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail to ensure correct pricing, change, and transaction records.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move product as needed, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
