I’m really excited about our Pop-Up today, Weds. I’ve been anxious to show these NEW very affordable and whiskies.
• Belle Meade Sour Mash Sraight Bourbon - 64% corn, 30% rye, and 6% malted barley. Blend of 4-7 year old whiskies, mostly 5-6 yr old. NOTE: This may be the last release of Belle by Nelson Briet Distillery. Taste - aroma of maple syrup, caramel and citrus zest that opens up to notes of creamy vanilla, oak, peaches and spicy rye. $28.99
• Penelope Four Grain Wheated Bourbon 74% Corn 16% Wheat 7% Rye 3% Malted Barley 95 Prf. 4 – 6 years old. This is the first release of the wheated. It’s nice see a new a whiskey with quality and reasonable price. This is a no brainer $39.98
• Bardstown High Wheated Bourbon Origin Series 6 Year - 106 Proof – 53% Corn 39% Wheat 8% Malted Barley. On its first release we bought and quickly sold 5 cases of this highly anticipated whiskey. The Origin Series has taken 6 years to develop because the liquid is ALL Bardstown. This is a fantastic Wheated Bourbon with depth and character that so many 80-90 proof wheated bourbons lack. This will sell quickly $46.98
• Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof Blue Corn Bourbon 5 years+ 134.2 Proof. As many of you know towards the end of 2024, Smokeye BP made a big splash with many positive reviews appearing on YouTube. The whiskey was quickly overpriced and sold out immediately. Last week, myself and Gary Holmgren tasted the current BP against last years highly acclaimed BP and without leading one another we both simultaneously agreed this batch at 134.2 proof is better!
