We will be closing Tuesday May 26th at 6pm to attend a family funeral. We will be closed all day Wednesday. We will return to normal business hours starting Thursday May 27th. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are now hiring for the following roles: launch/driver, which requires weekend and holiday work, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license; launch/campground help, which requires applicants to be at least 14 years old and available to work weekends and holidays; and cashier/reservationist, which requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, have excellent customer service skills, and be available to work weekends and holidays. Stop in to the canoe rental to apply. We are open daily from 9-6.

We have been thinking of doing evening activities during the week at Alcona Canoes for the months of June, July and August. We have a beautiful pavillion that we would like to see being used. Some things we were thinking of doing are family movie nights, volleyball tournaments, corn hole tournaments, outdoor game night etc. Just looking to see if there would be any interest. Any feed back would be appreciated.

We are pleased to announce that we will be open this weekend, catering to fishermen in the area. Car spotting services will be available along the AuSable River. Our store provides fishing licenses, bait and tackle, snacks, beverages, beer, and liquor. Additionally, the public shower house will be open; please stop by for shower tokens.
