Sales Associate Needed: Seeking someone with experience in
alcohol sales or bartending and excellent customer service skills. Must be a minimium of 21 and pass a criminal records check.

Requirements are: lifting up to 50 lbs, putting up and stocking inventory, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing. This position is for Thur 3-10p, Friday- Saturday 3-11 pm, and Sundays 12-8p Must be dependable, and honest with a good work history. Dear Customers, Family and Friends:

Barren River Beverages was the very first retail packaged liquor store to open in Glasgow, Ky. since prohibition. On February 17, 2017, we officially opened the doors. Six successful years later, it is with much pride and excitement that we announce we have sold Barren River Beverages.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff; many of which have been with us since we began this adventure. Without you, we could not have provided the excellent customer service that we have been none for.

Our loyal customers and the community…you are amazing! We have met and gained so many great friends throughout the past six years. We humbly express our sincere appreciation to each and everyone of you throughout the years for supporting us.

Today, six years later, we sold to Liquor Outlet, out of Louisville, Ky.
We feel they will continue the same business model of providing customers with excellent service and products to Barren and surround counties with the same friendly employees. We sincerely hope that you continue to support them, as you have us over the years.

It is now time to turn that page and begin a new chapter in our life. A life of retirement where we can slow down and enjoy our children, grandchildren, friends and family, and hopefully some travel.

What an exciting and informative meeting we had at the Southern Kentucky Bourbon Society last night. Caryn Wells, Brand Ambassador, for Green River Distilling Co. was our guest speaker. She shared the phenomenal history behind Green River Distilling and shared several of their amazing bourbons, including a Wheated and Barrel Proof. Trust me, when they are released, YOU WILL WANT TO GET THIS! Thank you, Caryn for such a fun and informative meeting. Can’t wait to have you back for again soon.
