🧠 Wednesday — Pourhouse Trivia at 7 PM
Bring your team and put your knowledge to the test while enjoying wine, beer, and plenty of laughs.

🏃 Thursday — Runners Meet-Up at 6 PM

One year ago, we took a leap of faith and poured our hearts into Grape Escape Kentlands with one simple dream… to create a place where people could gather, laugh, connect, unwind, and feel at home.

This weekend reminded us why we did it. ❤️

Even with the rain pouring outside, you all still showed up. You came in soaked from the weather, filled our bar with conversation and music, raised glasses with us, supported our small business, and celebrated this milestone like it was your own. That kind of love and support is something we will never, ever take for granted.

There were moments this past year that were exhausting, stressful, and honestly scary. Small businesses aren’t easy. But this community — YOU — kept us going. Every glass of wine shared, every trivia night laugh, every musician you clapped for, every beer ordered, every kind word, every person who walked through our doors… it mattered more than you know.

Thank you to Lone Oak Brewing Co. for creating our anniversary beer and being part of this celebration with us. And thank you to every single person who spent this rainy Memorial Day weekend with us and reminded us what community truly looks like.

Grape Escape is more than a wine and beer shop to us. It’s become a living room for this community. A place for friendships, first dates, celebrations, music, conversations, and memories. Seeing people continue to choose us — rain or shine — honestly brought tears to our eyes this weekend.

What a beautiful way to kick off our 1-Year Anniversary Weekend ❤️🍷🍻

A HUGE thank you to Billy Herrington for an amazing performance tonight and for helping us start this celebration with such incredible energy, music, and heart. One of our favorite moments of the night was seeing our owner Mark jump in and jam alongside Billy for a few songs on guitar — such a fun and special moment that reminded us exactly what Grape Escape is all about: community, connection, music, laughter, and making memories together 🎶✨

And to everyone who came out tonight despite the rainy weather… THANK YOU. Seriously. Seeing people still walk through our doors, grab a drink, enjoy the music, and celebrate with us means more than we can put into words.

The rain may continue this weekend, but so does the celebration ☔❤️

We are incredibly grateful to our friends at Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company— and especially Ian — for helping us celebrate such a special milestone with our very own Anniversary Beer on tap this weekend 🍻❤️

When we took over Grape Escape a year ago, we dreamed of creating a place centered around community, connection, and bringing people together — and having the support of local businesses and amazing people like Ian along the way has meant so much to us.

This collaboration is more than just a beer to us. It’s a celebration of friendship, local partnership, and an unforgettable first year filled with memories, music, laughter, and incredible people.

This weekend, we celebrate ONE YEAR of Grape Escape Kentlands being part of this amazing community — and honestly… we couldn’t have done it without YOU. ❤️

Over the past year we’ve laughed together, cried together, celebrated birthdays, sang along to live music, made new friends, survived long work weeks, toasted big moments, and created memories we’ll never forget. What started as a dream became a home away from home for so many people, and that means everything to us.

🎉 ONE YEAR OF GRAPE ESCAPE KENTLANDS 🎉

Next weekend, we celebrate ONE YEAR since we took over Grape Escape… and honestly, what a year it has been ❤️

There were moments we laughed until we cried, moments we were exhausted, moments we questioned everything… and moments where this little wine bar was so full of life, music, conversation, and community that it reminded us exactly why we started this journey.

To every person who stopped in for “just one drink”… stayed for live music… came to trivia… brought friends… celebrated birthdays… supported our events… ordered delivery… sat at the bar after a long day… or simply made this place feel alive — thank you. You helped turn Grape Escape into more than a wine bar. You helped make it a home for the community.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible staff who worked late nights, crazy weekends, deliveries, events, music nights, and everything in between. This past year would not have been possible without all of your hard work, patience, and heart.

So now it’s time to celebrate TOGETHER 🍷🍺
