We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
Follow routes and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
Collect payments
Inform customers about new products and services
Complete logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
Valid professional driver’s license
Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
High school degree

Driving to make deliveries, mostly local deliveries. Occasionally Manhattan or Brooklyn. Must be comfortable with city driving.
Stocking store shelves
Assisting customers on the sales floor
Ringing up customers using POS when necessary.
Assisting customers with loading large purchases into their cars
Keeping store neat and clean
Receiving deliveries of merchandise and making sure all new merchandise is put out on the shelf
Requirements:
Clean driver’s license is a MUST
MUST have own valid registered vehicle with insurance
Must be able to comfortably lift a case of wine (40+ pounds) and be in proper health to do this consistently.
Delivery and/or liquor store experience a plus
Knowledge of wine/liquor a big plus
Must be hard working, organized and responsible.
Room for growth potentially assistant manager role for a hard working individual with a desire to learn about wine and spirits, this can be a very fun place to work.
WEEKEND, EVENING AND HOLIDAY (inc. Christmas Eve, NY Eve, Thanksgiving, and Easter) availability is required for consideration. Most shifts end at 9PM.
