The Mangy Moose began over a third of a century ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming serving up some of the best eats and drinks around. The dining room has long been a favorite of both locals and visitors offering such fare as steaks, prime rib, sea food, pasta and the ever-popular 20 foot salad bar. By the end of the 70's, there was such demand for "Mangy Moose" logo hats and tee shirts at the time sold only in the restaurant and bar that ten years later a real "Moose" store was established in Teton Village. By the late 80's the Mangy Moose Emporium was born and by the mid 90's there were three stores: one in Teton Village, another in the town of Jackson both in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and a third in Freeport, Maine. Anything imaginable that is Moose is available in our stores ... from 85 cent pencils to $5,000 moose antler chandeliers ... from signature moose golf balls and moose socks to and pajamas ... we even have moose glassware and underwear ...
