She’s not only artistic, but has an amazing palette and sense of style. Our social media has come alive with her at the helm as have our displays in store. Stop by and see what magic she brings to our space! Here are three picks for this week in her words. 🥂🥃
Fernet Vallet
Cinnamon. Anise. Cardamom. Warm, rich and woodsy. The perfect neat sipper after a heavy meal. It’s a great addition to pair in cocktails with Mezcal, Tequila and even Rum. I love the earthy forwardness of Vallet versus the menthol heaviness of other Fernets. There’s something comforting about this spirit. Like sitting by a fire and eating your abuelitas baked goods with a special kick.
Wild Common Still Strength
I love a good Still Strength. There’s something to be said about pulling a spirit straight from the still and it being exactly what your looking for. Wild Common does it right. Tahona crushed adds that cherry on top giving it that velvety mouth feel any level of agave lover can appreciate. It’s still got that bite that’ll remind you to sip this one slowly and appreciate all its green, mineral flavors.
Caballito Cerrero: Ensamble Azul + Chato
I can’t say I’ve had a Caballito Cerrero I haven’t enjoyed. This ensamble is a beautiful mixture of complexity and layering. With a green, agave forward start and a briny, sweet finish that I personally love to taste. Their commitment to honoring traditions set before the CRT makes Caballito have a foothold on producing some of the best “Destilado de Agave”. This is a perfect sipper after a long days work or enjoying out in the yard on a beautiful weekend.
