How cool is this! This is one of my favorite Old Forester expressions. My first bottle of this I had to have a friend pick it up for me who lived down in Texas.

Today I’m in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, at one of the most historic distilleries in America.

This is MGP, but long before that name was on the door, this was part of the legendary Seagram’s distilling operation, with a history here that goes back well over a century to before Prohibition.

A lot of wh***ey history has come out of this place, including wh***ey and bourbon you’ve probably enjoyed without ever realizing where it was made.

Stay tuned…I can’t wait till we can share this rare wh***ey with you. 🥃

Some of the best bourbon conversations happen when the cameras aren't rolling.

One of the things I love most about this journey is meeting fellow bourbon enthusiasts who have a passion for sharing what they've learned. Last week, I spent an afternoon with the owner of The 6 on James in Angola. We traded stories, laughed a lot, and I left that afternoon reminded that no matter how much time you've spent around bourbon, there's always someone with another story, another perspective, and something new to teach you.

That's one of the reasons I love bourbon. No matter how much you know, there's always another story to discover, another bottle to experience, and another person who can teach you something new.

If you've never been to The 6 on James, it's worth adding to your list. With more than 2,200 wh***eys and bourbons, it's an incredible destination for any bourbon enthusiast.

🎬 The Legend of Old Rocky is coming to Cap n' Cork... well, sort of. 😄

We had a little fun with this video, inspired by those Netflix documentary spoofs that have been going viral lately.

This Thursday, Cap'n Cork is celebrating Rocky as he begins his next chapter as Store Manager. After 31 years of helping bourbon lovers find their next great bottle, it's time to celebrate him.

Watch the video, enjoy the laugh, and if you've ever had the chance to meet Rocky, stop by Cap'n Cork at Covington Plaza this Thursday from 4pm-6pm to congratulate him in person.

Just to be clear, we were having a little fun with this video. The "Old Rocky" bottle may not be real, but Rocky's 31 years at Cap'n Cork certainly are. An extremely limited allocation of Old Carter Wh***ey Co. bottles will also be available for this special event.🥃
