PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: SD-1 Severe Duty Diesel Engine Oil

Klotz SD-1 is a top-tier lubricant for high mileage light-duty and medium-duty diesel engines that routinely encounter severe operating conditions. The formulation’s primary additive package reduces wear and mitigates oxidation, even under extended periods of high oil temperatures. Its multifunctional detergent and dispersant system can manage excessive levels of soot and maintain engine cleanliness, even with legacy engine hardware. Its high-performance viscosity modifiers offer exceptional shear stability.

This fluid contains specialized base oils and a blend of pour point depressants to ensure excellent low-temperature pumpability and lubrication.

Klotz SD-1 is offered in two viscosity grades. The 10W-40 version uses base oils that are optimized for fuel efficiency. The 15W-40 version uses base oils that are optimized for hardware protection. Both viscosity grades are compatible with emission aftertreatment systems.
