***SCSO 2026 Virginia Rules Camp***

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the 2026 Virginia Rules Camp, a free day camp for county youth ages 11 to 13, sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General. This four-day camp will take place July 27th through July 30th, with daily drop-off and pick-up at Edinburg Park, at the pavilion closest to the pool.

Please note, space is limited—registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, and we can only accommodate the first 20 registrants.

Well Larry and I took a few days to work at home this weekend, but we will be back at the Fort Valley Country Store market this coming Saturday and Farm to Market on Main Farmers Market in Front Royal on Sunday, Father's Day, so hope you all come out and taste the Spring honey.

Okay this is the first time I've tried Joanne's Strawberry Pie! I'm just going to say it's phenomenal I promise the best tasting Strawberry Pie I've ever tasted! She sells pies at our Farmer Market!!

Farm Market is today, come on out. We have folks with Sweets and sour doughs, pork, pies, candles all kinds of different things plus Miss Ava and she has made freshly squeezed lemonade and Strawberry lemonade (My personal favorite). We have breakfast sandwiches and Deli sandwiches and Subs. We also have Steak or Chicken and cheese subs.

Congratulations to our Graduate Kenny!!
He’s getting ready to fly the coop! It seems like all the sudden he’s all grown up and we will miss him terribly but extremely excited. He's going to spend the summer working for the National Park Services Youth Conservation Corp.
