Straus Tobacconist is excited to announce that two rare Limited Cigar Association releases will be available Friday, April 3rd!

We have a small amount of these, and expect them to sell out quickly.

First up is the LCA Year of Ed, a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro aged for 2 years. Wrapped in Jalapa Habano with Salvadoran binder and Estelí and Condega fillers from Tabacalera Annex, this one delivers everything people love about well-aged Nicaraguan to***co. Expect rich cocoa, toasted hazelnut, caramel, marzipan, baking spice, espresso, leather, and a long chocolatey finish. Smooth, layered, and deeply satisfying.

Also arriving is the LCA+ Cavalier Genève Paca, a 6 x 50 Toro aged for 3 years. This special release comes out of FCT in Honduras and features Habano wrapper, Connecticut binder, and Nicaraguan and Peruvian fillers. With notes of honeyed to***co, graham cracker, lemon peel, dried cherry, almond, espresso, molasses, dark cocoa, and cedar, this is a rare cigar with real story and provenance behind it. A beautiful, mature smoke that collectors and Cavalier fans will want to get their hands on.

If these sound like your kind of ci**rs, do not wait. Quantities are extremely limited, and once they are gone, they are gone.

Fresh LCA drop Tomorrow Friday February 6th, and this one’s for the folks who actually care how a cigar is built.

LCA: Super Sea Monkeys 2026 (6 x 54)

La Sirena name, but built by Privada in collaboration with Raul Lanuza, the “Young Prince of Ci**rs.” The headline here is the wrapper: a Cameroon Negro grown in Nicaragua and pushed through a fermentation process that takes Cameroon into ultra-maduro territory. Darker, richer, sweeter, and way more complex than what most people expect from “Cameroon.”

What you’ll taste: stone fruit and caramel, with a smooth, structured finish from the Condega binder and Peruvian + Estelí fillers.

LCA+: 1-2-3 Culebra (Three 6 x 46 strands)

This is the one you’re going to talk about. A tri-color culebra that separates the cigar into wrapper, binder, and filler, then braids them back together. Smoke the strands separately or together and you’ll literally taste the anatomy of the cigar in real time.
• Dark strand: ultra-fermented Cameroon Negro (rich and deep)
• Medium strand: Condega binder (balance and structure)
• Light strand: Peruvian wrapper (brightens and spotlights the filler)

It’s bigger than a traditional culebra so each strand actually performs, and it took six months to pull off. Also aged a year.

If you want to try something truly different, don’t “catch it next time.” LCA and LCA+ don’t work like that. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

JANUARY LCA CI**RS!!

Expect aroma, progression, and a profile that keeps changing as you smoke it. This is a thinking cigar, refined and intentional from start to finish.
