Tara’s tireless dedication, compassionate leadership, and unwavering advocacy for individuals impacted by substance use disorder have transformed countless lives across Michigan and beyond. Under her guidance, Serenity House Communities has grown into a sanctuary of healing—offering holistic, trauma-informed support that truly changes lives.

This national award honors transformational leadership and was created in memory of Lisa Mojer-Torres and Joel Hernandez to uplift those who champion dignity, rights, and recovery for all.

Tara will be honored on June 10th at the 2025 Recovery Leadership Summit in Arlington, VA, during the America Honors Recovery Gala. 💜
