Stop by for quality products and savings that keep you coming back! 🚗🛒 In 1972 Jim and Sharon James purchased a full service gas station from Ethal Natter. It was a Mobil station where you could not only get gas but have small repairs done. Jim specialized in Volkswagen vehicles. Dana Furseth was on of the first of many employee and in 1973 leased the station from the James'. This is when the Jame

s' moved their small family to Grantspass, OR. While there the James' children Rick, Mike & Angie welcomed home a baby sister Tammy in 1974 completing the family. In 1975 they moved back to Fennimore and took back operating the station. Then 1976 brought the next change into converting the gas station into a convenience/gas station which offered home delivery of groceries also. This is where the current owner Angie would get her start with the business by putting away groceries and cleaning the then outside bathrooms. Around the years 1981 to 1989 Jim had his sister Dixie Miles manage the station for them. From around the fall of 1989 to mid 1990 their son Rick who just graduated with a business management degree ran the store for them. At this time it went from a Mobil station to a Sinclair station. In 1991 Angie then became a clerk at the store. Forward to 1996 a new addition was added for liquor products and to bring the bathrooms indoors. By 2001 they then changed to the BP brand gasoline. 2003 brought Angie into the managers position which then allowed Jim and Sharon to quit working at the store. In 2007 Angie James married Lee Faith, bought the store from her parents and also purchased the Gunderson property adjacent to the back of the store. Which then allowed for greater parking for the customer's. In 2008 Angie and Lee then purchased the old Whistle Stop Cafe' beside the station, so then trucks and trailers could access the lot. In2013 they did a complete full circle and was once again a Mobil gas station. The James/Faith familes have always gave back in support of the community. And have always been very thankful to the loyal customers. Still today you can find Jim & Sharon up at the station helping with maintenance, painting or cleaning. We pride ourselves in being a family owned and operated business all these years. So we ask you to be smart, shop Speedy Mart, where Convenience costs less. The only thing we ask on the Page as our friend is to be polite, no fowl language.

After two days of investigating trying to figure out why my gas prices were so high in town compared to the competition, I finally figured it out. My gas supplier over charged me for my fuel and left me out here, paying a high price for fuel. I want to apologize to everyone who had to pay that high price and we will be extending a super good deal on fuel very soon to compensate the difference. I guarantee this will not happen again!
