Hello friends, the warmer weather is here and that means the beginning of the summer season! Father's Day, Golfing, cookouts, camping and bonfires are right around the corner. Wine and spirit of the week- La Lecciaia Brunello 2018 and 19th Tee Scotch

Hello friends, we are gearing up for Father's Day and our featured selections this week are just the thing to help celebrate.

La Lecciaia Brunello is the perfect wine for all those meat-eating dads out there, it also has great cellaring potential as well. The robust body and tannic finish pairs well with red meats, game and hard cheeses. Notes of cherry cola, vanilla and leather on the nose. On the palate you get deep notes of dark chocolate and orange with a nice acidity and strident tannins.

The 19th tee scotch is versatile, easy drinking and the perfect gift for the scotch or golf lover in your life. Great for those fun summer cocktails around the grill or on the green. Mix with lemonade or Arnold palmer for a delicious and easy summer drink or just sip it on the rocks around the campfire.

Parini Prosecco Rose is perfect for those light spritzer cocktails on the back patio, or just to sip when you want a little bubbly. This wine has a light and fruity nose of white peach, citrus and wild strawberry. With A fresh and delicate palate showcasing light floral and fresh fruit notes, it is the perfect thing to have on hand.

Wine and spirit of the week- Il Casato Sauvignon Blanc and Michter's Straight Rye

Hello friends, we hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We have another amazing wine and spirit feature for you this week!

Il Casato Sauvignon Blanc comes to us from amazing wine makers in Friuli, Italy. Dedicated to sustainable and ethical farming practices this vineyard produces unique, clean and environmentally friendly wines that will have you happy to come back for more. This winery produces delicious products and their Sauvignon Blanc is no exception. Aromas of gooseberry and winter melon with a hint of minerality lead into a medium bodied wine with a silky texture and refreshing acidity.

Michter's Straight Rye benefits from the dedication to excellence expected from this distillery. Made from select American Rye grain, aged in fire charred new American oak and sourced from a single barrel. This whiskey gives notes of spice and peppercorn balanced with hints of butterscotch, oak and light citrus.

Hello friends, it's that time to introduce our selection for the Fine wine Friday tasting.

Prunotto's first vintage was produced from Barolo's best grapes back in 1905. Since then, this wine has only continued to grow and add to the notoriety of this historic wine region in Italy.

This extraordinary wine shows notes of red fruits and floral. Spicy, earthy aromas with a hint of plum lead into sweet tannins and a long finish. Aging in oak barrels truly brings out the essence of the Nebbiolo grapes grown in this region. Pair it with veal or hard cheeses for a truly spectacular experience.
