Whats new about this years Injected Smoked Turkeys is this amazing South African Cape Brandy, LADISMITH.
Over the years I have used so many brands but the aromatics of Klein Karoo grapes, hint of apricot, litchi, banana and a floral note of red berry. Aged 8 years in oak barrels with only 1000 bottles a year produced.
Injected with Brandy Butter, rubbed with a creole pesto, smoked with hickory, pecan woods, basted with a Ladismith maple mustard brandy glaze, then stuffed with a Crawfish, Andouille Sausage Jambalaya.
