Happy Birthday Azim. You would have been 44 years old. I am working on exposing the corruption of the Evanston Police Department, who refuses to fulfill any FOIA requests. I will find the truth and will bring justice to the murders, because clearly the police are doing their job.

Today is Mobeen's birthday. He would have been 39 years old. The Evanston Police have failed our family. They not only have NOT closed the case, but do not even investigate the murder. They don't even bother to fulfill FOIA requests for their sister.

Evanston hates us. They have hated my family since 1975. The school and administrations quietly witnessed us being harasses and bullied. Some of the teachers even laughed at us (Mary Jane Crotty) when we were bullied, while some teachers purposely butchered our name to humiliate us (Mrs. Teitelbaum).

Now, my brothers were murdered, and nobody cares to investigate. The one person who benefitted from the murders was Jim Nash Jr., and the police refuse to investigate him (being a rich white guy has its advantages). They did not bother to look into his finances, nor his employees.

We will never forget the cruelty of Evanston toward our family, and we will not be silent as they continue their selfish apathy. SHAME ON EVANSTON POLICE. SHAME ON EVANSTON. The world will know you for your islamophobia.

Cops plant evidence all the time. That is how they blamed Kevin Ross for the murders of the Azim Hakeem and Mobeen Hakeem. They took a box of evidence and placed in the storage unit, and waited for the FBI agent to find it.

My statement about what happen in Orlando: This was a hate crime toward LGBT people. This was done by a homophobe. But because this homophobe happened to be Muslim, I am concerned that people will justify more hate crimes toward Muslims. I have struggled against Islamophobia and fought for LGBT rights for decades, and I hope this is a wake up call to my Muslims brothers and sisters to rise up and love their LGBT neighbors. In the month of Ramadan, let us practice love and peace by being compassionate to all people who Allah has created. That is the Islamic way. I want Muslims to rally around declaring its support and solidarity for LGBT people. Who is willing to do this with me?

Don't get murdered in Evanston Illinois. If you do, chances are good the Police will give your family the run around for a few months before blaming everything on someone who is already dead. If someone dead isn't available to blame, they will wait patiently until a rookie officer gets scared and shoots someone during a tense situation. That someone who is now dead will get blamed for your murder. Worse, that someone while being dead is also unable to provide a defense against the bogus charge. Adding insult to injury, the involved officers will be instructed to not file reports on the incident thus completing the cover up.

According to a table on page seven of the City of Evanston's 2014 Police annual report, only TWO deadly force Use-of-Force reports were filed during 2013. We have determined through FOIA requests, FIVE officers were involved in the December 16, 2013 shooting of Kevin Ross. Based on that table, a minimum of three officers (likely all five) did not file reports. Why were officers either instructed to or allowed to refrain from filing reports?

The only available exemption in the City of Evanston's Use of Force guidelines are six magic words contained within General Order 16.1 section VII B1. Those magic words are "or as directed by a supervisor".

Do your family a favor, don't get murdered in Evanston Illinois.
