We are a craft beer bar/restaurant/bottleshop located in the Willamette Valley that specializes in providing the finest craft beer selection between Portland and San Francisco. We have been recognized by the Eugene Weekly, Craftbeer.com, and USA Today as one of the best beer bars in the region. Since 2005 we have grown from a small, 12-tap bar to a beer hall with 30 taps and over 1,000 bottles. We

keep our product fresh and cold at all times, and our staff knows what's up with beer. We use proper glassware and serving sizes so you can enjoy your beer the way it was meant to be. We serve excellent food, including panini sandwiches, traditional German dishes, and local seasonal dishes that change bimonthly. Announcing another very exciting collab beer for our 20th Anniversary: STEIN BENDER with Fort George!🍺🌀

For our first ever collaboration with the legendary Fort George Brewery, we’ve come up with an awesome, super dank, extra piney West Coast IPA.🌲

“Full of melony fruit flavor from a load of Mosaic and Eclipse hops, Chinook Cryo and Simcoe Dynaboost - Stein Bender finishes zippy and just a little bitter.”🔥

We sent Dave on a solo mission to Astoria to brew this badass beer, and it’s safe to say he enjoyed himself. Huge shoutout to Fort George for helping us celebrate 20 years in the beer game!

20/10 VISION.👀🍺

For the fourth installment in our saga of six 20th Anniversary Collab Beers, we brewed a beautiful Pale Ale with our friends at ColdFire Brewing Company!🔥

20/10 Vision: “This collaboration of milestones (20 years of Bier Stein, 10 of ColdFire) is full of hoppy goodness and friendship vibes. Powered by some classic hops and topped off with an experimental hop that derives strong berry and tropical fruitiness; this pale is the perfect way to celebrate many years of deliciousness.“ Notes of tropical berries, pomegranate, and pine.

The Bier Stein is blending Cider?!🍎🍏
Best believe it! We had the pleasure of heading up to 2 Towns Ciderhouse in Corvallis to come up with an awesome cider flavor for our 20th Anniversary Party!🎉

After getting a tour of their awesome huge facility, Ali and I (Steve, the social media guy) got to work with the big dogs at 2 Towns on deciding the perfect flavor for Summer sippin’ at the Stein.☀️

Introducing: 2 Steins! This is a German Grapefruit Radler inspired hard apple cider with a Tarragon herb infusion. It’s light, 5% ABV with a perfect medium sweetness and dry-ish finish. The tart, juicy, and slightly bitter grapefruit character mixed with the sweet herbal notes of Tarragon come together for a complex and refreshing treat.

Great way to bring our Two Towns together and bond over a delicious and unique beverage!🙌

The 2 Steins cider will be released at our 20th Anniversary Party mini Beerfest on July 19th. Be there or be ⬜️!🍻

Welcome back our friends from The Wheel to our Thursday Tasting series!🛞🔥

We’ll be pouring their Vista Lager on draft today; a light lager using tasty Vista hops, with delicate and crisp notes of white peach and golden raspberry. The Francin barley used for the light dry base is a Czech barley grown in the Pacific North West.🍺

Brendan from The Wheel will be representing and pouring samples of not only the Vista Lager, but all of the new and classic brews from The Wheel that we keep stocked in our cooler. Stop by from 6pm-8pm to sample, choose your favorite style, and take a few home! Cheers 🍻 The Wheel Apizza Pub

Van Henion Brewing x Boneyard Beer x The Bier Stein 🔥

The 2nd of 6 collab brews for our 20th Anniversary!

“This Japanese-Style Rice Lager is a celebration in every sip. Crisp and clean, with a subtle bright citrus spice from sansho peppercorns, it offers a unique twist on a classic style. Brewed as one by Van Henion Brewing, Boneyard Beer, and The Bier Stein.”🍺🤝

This was an essential collaboration on our list for this year’s celebratory beers. The Bier Stein ties run strong with Van Henion. Co-owner Dana, who you see here with the classic Bier Stein tee, and her husband/co-owner Mark (with the awesome beard that matches Dave’s!)

Dana’s first job in the beer industry was behind the bar at the old Bier Stein. From there she started her brewing journey at Oakshire, and graduated from the UC Davis Brewing program. She then moved on to Ninkasi where she met future hubby Mark Henion (former head of Ninkasi's Lager program). From there they moved to Bend and brewed at Boneyard, and then started Van Henion with longtime Bend brewing legend, John Van Duzer!
Plus we’re just big fans of both of these breweries and have had a close relationship with Tony and Boneyard since their inception. This collab was brewed at Boneyard’s Lake Street brewery.❤️

Now let’s taco ‘bout Bingo! We’ve been having a great time hosting Bingo every week. Fun crowd, mouth watering food and drinks, cash prizes, discounted beer, and donations to awesome local nonprofits. That’s an action packed Tuesday.💥🍺

This month we'll be supporting Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon with funds from Bingo card purchases. Reps from Planned Parenthood will be here with information on resources and good vibes!!

To kick off a great month, here’s a reminder of our super fun weekly events!

BINGO & TACOS on Tuesday night! 7pm, cash prizes, delicious a la carte street tacos, and discounts on Litersteins - truly epic. Our nonprofit partner this month is Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon! This means that your Bingo card purchases will support important sexual health care in our community. Keep it up!💪 🌮

Wednesday Cribbage with Eugene Cribbage! If you’ve been to a cribbage night with Bill and Dave before, you know how it goes. $5 buy-in, friendly games, and an epic cribbage tournament for gift card prizes!! Get here early to grab some food and drink before the games begin at 6:30pm. 🃏

Our Thursday Tasting this week is with our good friends at The Wheel aPizza Pub!
