"A Stage Dive Into A Mosh Pit Of Hops." You're welcome. Very bitter!

Stone RuinTen Triple IPA
IBUs 110 ABV 10.8%
Release Date June 16th, 2014

Stone first released this decidedly indelicate beer in 2012, as Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their belovedly bitter Stone Ruination IPA. Stone RuinTen IPA uses the same recklessly hoppy recipe as the 2012 release; only the name has changed, since they're now unleashing this be

lligerently delicious hop monster upon the public on an annual basis. They packed a whopping five pounds of hops into each barrel, and cranked up the ABV to stand up to the hop onslaught. The results are glorious, and they know you'll rejoice in tasting this audacious gem of hoppy splendor once again. Tasting Notes:
By Brewmaster Mitch Steele

Appearance:
Deep gold with an off-white creamy head of foam. Aroma:
Intense, dank and fruity hop notes. Lemon oil infused with nectarine, pineapple and tropical fruit, with hints of mint and spice. Taste:
An abundance of tropical fruity hop flavors up front and carrying throughout the palate. A pleasant maltiness balances the hops about mid-palate. Finishes with a long, lingering, clean bitterness. Palate:
Full-bodied but dry, with an alcohol fullness and sweetness. Overall:
"We brewed this beer using the same ingredients as in our classic Stone Ruination IPA, but bumped up the malt to achieve its elevated 10.8% abv. And of course we jacked up the hops as well–not just in the boil, but we doubled the dry-hop amount, using a 50/50 blend of Centennial and Citra. The combination is, dare I say, magic."

For those unfamiliar, in 2002, we introduced Stone Ruination IPA (and its imposing 100+ IBUs) as the first year-round brewed-and-bottled West Coast double IPA on the planet. Then in 2012, in commemoration of its 10th anniversary, we introduced a new beer that would grow to be known as Stone RuinTen Triple IPA. Now, we’re bringing that back in all its over-the-top, cranked-to-11, maximum hoppy splendor, using every brewing technique in our arsenal to squeeze every last bit of magic out of a truly staggering amount of hops. It’s been 18 years of beautifully bitter evolution, and this stage dive into a mosh pit of hops is bigger and bitter-er than ever.

Don’t call it a comeback.
