“Ely is a never-ending trail of fabulous stories,” says Ely author Scott Stowell. He’s co-hosting a fabulous storytelling show May 21st featuring some of Ely’s terrific storytellers. We’ll hear from Aaron Kania about fighting the Greenwood Fire, and from wilderness photographer Ken Hupila about running afoul of the game warden. Abby Dare from The Meadows tells how Outward Bound led her to a life-long inner journey. And we’ll hear from Brett Ross, Ryan Stewart, Doris Kolodji and more, in a rollicking night of laughter and adventure, northwoods style. It all starts at 6:30 pm, in the Lookout Lounge above The Boathouse in Ely. No admission charge, everyone welcome. It’s Storytelling to Stay Human, the way we all connect.
