Dear Elmore City, ❤️
We want to take a moment to say how truly thankful and blessed we have been to serve you this past year. Our family has been grateful for the opportunity to be part of this little community and to serve so many wonderful people.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the ladies and gents who made Badger Corner what it was are no longer there. We are going to miss our kiddos something fierce, along with all of our amazing customers. You all have meant more to us than words can express.
We may no longer be at the corner, and for that, we are truly sorry. We tried really hard. But when you start with nothing and face opposition along the way, sometimes things just don't work out the way you hoped and prayed they would.
But this isn't goodbye! ❤️
The home-cooked meals you all love will still be available as Granny & Brittany open their café at Triple Creek! We will have full seating and a complete menu, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone through our doors. Many of you already know about this exciting next chapter, and we are so looking forward to seeing familiar faces there!
And as for our kiddos — they have honestly been my heart at Badger Corner. ❤️ We want them to know they have not been forgotten! They will be able to text in their meal orders by 10:30 AM, and we have a special lady dedicated to delivering school meals to them. Taking care of those babies has always meant so much to us, and we intend to continue doing so.
For those we provide meals to who are elderly, please know that we plan to continue serving you as well once the full kitchen is up and running.
As you stop by Badger Corner this week, we aren't sure whose face you will see, but we know it won't be ours. For that, we sincerely apologize. Our entire family has loved being able to serve this little community, and leaving the corner is not how we wanted things to turn out.
Thank you, Elmore City, for the support, the friendships, the conversations, the smiles, and the memories. You have been a blessing to our family, and we hope to continue serving you in our next chapter.
