OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM CAMPBELL OIL COMPANY (ISH)
It has come to our attention that on Monday, December 7th, a select group of Campbell Oil Company employees chose chaos.
What began as a simple holiday outing rapidly escalated into the unauthorized liberation of Walmart shopping carts, a Santa-hat–themed sprint across live traffic, and a festive but ill-advised interaction with local law enforcement.
Yes, the carts were stolen.
Yes, Santa was involved.
Yes, the police had to bring them back.
No, this was not a drill.
And no, HR did not approve any of this.
The employees in question have been accounted for, mildly humbled, and reminded that “holiday spirit” is not a legal defense.
We would like to thank Walmart for their patience in the return of their carts, Elizabethtown motorists for not running over Santa, and local law enforcement for returning our employees.
As penance for their crimes and because the toys still need to get collected, we are pivoting this incident into a HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE REDEMPTION ARC.
🎁 Donate today at 1106 W Broad Street, Elizabethtown
🚓 Come drop off a toy and meet the criminals in question
🎅 Santa hats optional. Running encouraged emotionally, not physically.
Carry on.
