It’s hot outside.
Business is finally picking up along with the rising temperature, but bad news might be heading your way. It’s official: we’ve entered the dreaded season for emergency HVAC tune-ups and expensive repairs.
Your unit was running completely normal during the cool season. But the second summer arrives and the outdoor temperature jumps into the 90s, the inside cooler temperature suddenly skyrockets from a crisp 40°F up to 50°F, 60°F, or higher.
So, you make the frantic emergency service call. The technician arrives, performs a "magical fix," and then scolds you for being lazy about cleaning the fins. You get hit with a massive, sky-high bill for parts you probably didn't even need—a compressor replacement, a new fan motor, extra refrigerant, a capacitor, you name it.
Sounds familiar?
If you're interested, I am going to tell you exactly how I diagnosed and fixed this exact issue myself today—without a service call, and without being ripped off.
Because around here, I keep a strict motto:
Coldest beer. Warmest service.
Happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone!
