The real showstopper is its intricate multi-wrapper design. By weaving together Ecuador Maduro, Connecticut, and Candela leaves, it creates a striking visual contrast that looks as incredible as it smokes. But those wrapper transitions aren’t just for show—they add unique shifts in flavor as the burn progresses.

Behind that leaf artistry sits an Ecuador Habano binder and a rich core of Nicaraguan fillers, delivering a bold, medium-to-full-bodied profile. It ignites with a lively kick of black pepper and dark espresso before smoothing out into rich dark chocolate, subtle earth, and a surprisingly creamy finish.

The story behind one of the most unique single-coffin releases out there is actually pretty cool.

If you’ve been following classic hand-rolled traditions for a while, you’ve probably come across the Tatuaje Old Man and the C. What makes the presentation so iconic is that inside a single wooden coffin, you get two distinct vitolas side-by-side: a classic straight piece and a braided Culebra.

For anyone unfamiliar, a Culebra is three individual pieces braided together while wet and bound at the ends with ribbon. The history behind the format is great—traditionally, factories gave rollers a daily allotment, and braiding them was a simple way to keep those specific pieces distinct. Seeing one up close inside that coffin always sparks a conversation about just how much labor and skill goes into old-world craftsmanship.

It’s equal parts literary homage and tribute to historic rolling styles.
