🦶👀 DID YOU KNOW EASTON HAS A BIGFOOT HISTORY?! 👀🦶

Most people think Bigfoot sightings happen way out in the middle of nowhere… but apparently, Sasquatch has been hanging around our neck of the woods for a LONG time! 😂🌲

📍 Around Lake Kachess & Easton, there are multiple reported encounters dating back decades!

One of the most interesting reports was from 1965, when three people near Lake Kachess claimed they watched a large, reddish, hairy, upright creature for about 30 minutes. 😳

Then in 2000, two fishermen on a Forest Service road near Easton reported seeing what they initially thought was a person walking toward them… until they got a better look. 🫣

And that's not all! There have also been reports of:
👣 Large footprints
🗣️ Strange whooping calls
🪨 Rocks being thrown
🏕️ Camps being disturbed
🍖 Food mysteriously disappearing

So the next time you're out around Easton and hear something moving in the woods…

Maybe don't assume it's just a bear. 😂

And if you see Bigfoot wandering into Peterson's Fuel, tell him we already know he's a local. 🦶🤣

🦶☕ Bigfoot’s Great Breakfast Heist

It was a smokey Friday morning in Easton, and Bigfoot woke up with only one thing on his mind:

BREAKFAST. 🍳🥓

He had heard a rumor that Peterson’s Fuel had fresh breakfast burritos and French toast taquitos, and Bigfoot does not ignore rumors involving breakfast.

So he snuck out of the woods, trying his absolute best to be quiet.

Unfortunately…

CRUNCH.

He stepped on a pinecone.

“Whoops.”

CRUNCH. CRUNCH. CRUNCH.

At that point, Bigfoot decided stealth was overrated.

When he finally made it to Peterson’s, he walked through the door like he owned the place.

“Morning,” said the cashier.

Bigfoot nodded seriously.

“Coffee.”

Then he spotted the breakfast case.

His eyes got HUGE. 👀

Burrito.

Taquito.

Burrito.

Taquito.

He grabbed one of each.

Then he looked at the cashier.

“Two?”

The cashier shook their head.

“Big guy… You need more than two.”

Bigfoot smiled.

“I was hoping you’d say that.”

Five minutes later, Bigfoot was sitting outside Peterson’s with enough breakfast to feed a small hiking group.

A guy walking by asked, “You really gonna eat all that?”

Bigfoot looked down at his breakfast.

Looked at the guy.

Then looked back at his breakfast.

“You ever seen a hungry Sasquatch?”

The guy shook his head.

Bigfoot grinned.

“Exactly.”

😂🦶🌲

And that’s how Bigfoot started his Friday…

with a full belly, a hot coffee, and absolutely no regrets.

Peterson’s Fuel will be closing early tonight at 7:00 PM so our family can take a little time together. ❤️

Even Bigfoot knows that sometimes you have to step away from the forest, put down the burrito, and enjoy some good old-fashioned family time! 😂

We’ll be back to our regular hours tomorrow and ready to see all of you!
