And frankly, the hunt is half the fun.

At Park Place, Chris Miller and Ambrose Havey are always on the trail: calling in favors, digging through private collections, chasing allocations, and asking the very important question: “Who has one of these?” 👀

A few recent finds we’re thrilled about:

🍇 Domaine Michel Gros Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Clos des Réas 2019
Silky, perfumed Burgundy from a rare monopole. Basically, Burgundy showing off.

🥂 Y d’Yquem “Ygrec” 2018
Château d’Yquem. But dry. 👀 Rare, remarkable, and very much a “Wait, they make THIS?” bottle.

🍷 Château Langoa Barton Saint-Julien 2005
Third Growth Bordeaux. Legendary vintage. Twenty years of bottle age. Someone else already did the waiting.

And those bottles behind Chris? They’re all laying down on their sides, aging beautifully. Because great wine knows how to take its time.

And then parked it in East Hampton just to make people smile.

Proof that not every roadside surprise needs to be a celebrity sighting, a new store selling a $30 breakfast sandwich, or another place charging $18 for iced coffee. Sometimes it can just be an enchanting pickup truck full of flowers.
