Welcome to...1940?
​For generations, humans knew that the cannabis plant held a mix of secrets. People used it, farmers grew it, and traditional herbalists relied on it.

At that same time, in a chemistry lab, nobody actually knew what was ACTUALLY inside the plant.

​Enter Roger Adams, a brilliant organic chemist and professor at the University of Illinois.

​Back in the summer of 1940, Adams and his research team got their hands on a batch of what was historically documented as "Minnesota wild h**p." Adams set out to do what no one had ever done before: isolate the individual compounds.
​
His team successfully extracted a pure, crystalline substance for the very first time. They called it cannabidiol (C*D).

​To lock it down for history, Adams filed U.S. Patent US2304669 in August 1940 (which was officially granted in December 1942), creating the very first legal and scientific blueprint for working with the isolated compound.

That 1940 laboratory breakthrough is now used for wellness, with millions incorporating C*D into their daily routines for natural self-care, stress support, and holistic balance.
