What an honor to receive a Congressional Record of recognition of our family and 80+ years of service to our community of Earle, AR. We are officially part U.S. History! This would not have been possible without the foundation, dedication, and hard work Y.M. & his wife started many years ago, that Charlie Young and family continues to uphold.

It would also not be possible if it wasn’t for YOU; our lifetime customers. YOU are like family to us, who continue to bring in generations of loved ones, that we are blessed to watch grow and serve. A huge THANK YOU goes to YOU! We appreciate and love you all.

In addition, we want to give a special shoutout to the Pentecostal Crusade Church in Earle! We are truly thankful for being one of the several honored today!

Happy Charlie Young & Young’s Grocery Day!

Today, we proudly celebrate more than 80 years of dedicated service to the Earle community. This milestone reflects not just the history of our business, but the generations of families, friendships, and shared moments that have shaped who we are.

We are deeply honored by this recognition. Our sincere thanks to Mayor Jalen Smith for proclaiming this special day, Senator Keith Ingram, Congressman Rick Crawford, Senator John Boozman, Robert Thorne Jr, city councilman Demetris Johnson Jr, Zach Smith & his UCA team, & the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office, for their steadfast support of small businesses like ours, and for joining us in this celebration.

We also want to thank the ladies of Women With Pure Hearts for donating Christmas decorations to help make Earle more festive, Eternal Light Funeral Services for providing food, and Rosie Thomas for the delicious cake!!

Most importantly, THANK YOU to our loyal customers— our extended family. You have welcomed us into your lives for decades, and everything we do is truly for you! We appreciate your support, encouragement, and partnership over the years.
