🌶️ Garlic-Chili Linguine for Lunch in the Heart of Dundee! 🍝

Great friends, we whipped up something special today—a flavorful garlic olive oil and red chili pepper linguine that’ll warm your soul and fire up your taste buds! 🔥

👨‍🍳 Here’s how it’s done:
• 1 lb linguine
• 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
• Salt to taste
• A generous dash of red chili flakes

Boil your pasta in salted water until al dente. While that’s cooking, heat olive oil in a large pan (Easy Cook or Ninja works great!) and sauté the aromatics until golden. Add a spoonful of pasta water to create a beautiful emulsion that brings everything together.

We’re serving this up for lunch today, complete with Mamma Rita’s famous artisan toast and a fresh side salad. It’s bold, simple, and absolutely delicious. 💯

O a Linguine Kind of Day! 🍝

Linguine (pronounced lin-GWEE-nee) is a classic long-cut pasta made with durum wheat semolina and water. At about 4mm wide, it’s a bit more slender than fettuccine — and instead of being completely flat, it has a beautiful oval shape that perfectly hugs our sauces.

Today, we tossed it with a rich, savory Bolognese — a hearty meat sauce made with pancetta, ground meat, vegetables, tomatoes, and just the right blend of seasonings.
With a side salad and a Mamma Rita’s fresh focaccia toast.
