A message from our EBT processor. We will not be able to process EBT transactions in the mist of a government shutdown.
We appreciate your business and thank you for using TotilPay to process your transactions. We are writing to inform you that in the event of a government shutdown there is a possibility that processing will not be available after midnight tonight.
As of right now, our main processor will stop processing transactions at 12:01 tonight. We will try to honor payments as best as we can but it is possible that the EBT processor will not be able to process SNAP or WIC as of tomorrow. Due to this, the TotilPay apps will also not be able to process those payments. Should this occur, please be patient as we wait to hear from the federal government and our processors as to when payments can resume. We will keep you informed of any developments as soon as we receive them.
Please note that this is out of our control and there is nothing we can do until we hear from the processors that USDA has provided them with guidance to be able to move forward or until the government shutdown is resolved and normal business resumes.
If you are a vendor in an electronic Farmers Market Nutrition Program accepting payments from customers who use the MyMarketLink app, those payments will still continue to function as normal.
If this is negatively affecting your business, we encourage you to contact your Congressional representatives to let them know how the shutdown is affecting you and to encourage them to come to a resolution as soon as possible. You can find your representatives, along with their contact information, here.
