Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mom, mother figure, grandma, aunt, bonus mom, foster mom, pet mom, and caregiver making a difference every day. 💐

Today we celebrate the love, strength, sacrifice, support, and endless snacks, rides, hugs, and encouragement you give to the people around you.

Sometimes we like to get away from business dealings to talk about other exciting things!

This past weekend, one of our North Dickinson team member's (Mustafa Taylor, aka "Moose") schedule looked like this:

Thursday - worked his evening shift at The Hub after a day of classes at Dickinson State University.

Friday - Physical and mental preparation for the Frontier Conference Track and Field Meet, hosted on his home track at DSU.

Saturday - Runs a 10.24 seconds in the 100m Dash Prelims, which, at the time, was the fastest time in the nation by an NAIA sprinter.

Sunday - Improves on his time in the 100m Dash Finals, running in a time of 10.15 seconds. Inexplicably he took second place in this race, as the winning runner finished in 10.14 seconds. Nonetheless, it's the second best time in the nation in the NAIA college division. For good measure, he also was awarded as one of the Champions of Character in the Frontier Conference, a nomination provided by his head Coach. Keep in mind that Moose's time would have been in the TOP ONE-THIRD of sprinters at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Congratulations on a phenomenal weekend, Moose!

And yes, it is possible to work a part-time job and excel at extra-curriculars. Moose is Exhibit A for this year.

Earlier this week, Duane Duppong (Store Leader, Hazen and company-wide Foodservice Specialist) was honored by Convenience Store Decisions as an industry "40 Under 40" honoree, recognizing the top leaders in convenience retail from across the country who are under 40 years old. It was part of the Convenience Store Connections event in Jacksonville, Florida. Congratulations, Duane!

🌱 Spring is trying… we think?? 😂

One day it’s sunshine, the next day it’s “why is there still frost on my windshield?” ❄️☀️

BUT—we’re calling it. Spring is basically here, and that means it’s officially time for:

✨ Iced coffees (yes, even if it’s 42°… we’re committed)
🍕 A quick Godfather’s Pizza run between errands
🥤 Grabbing your favorites on the way to ball practice, road trips, or just because
🚗 That fresh carwash feeling after a loooong winter
