What a weekend for Downtown Delaware! First Friday is shaping up to be a beautiful evening for a DORA and a walk about, it should finally not be disgustingly hot for the Farmers Market tomorrow, but in case you still need refreshment we open at 11 (with one of the owners doing a pop up clothing sale from 11-1), and Ohio State football kicks off! Don’t show up empty handed to the watch party, or tailgate, we’ve got plenty of cold drinks and chips you can take with you!

Get your butt to Barleys cause Gabby, owner (pictured right), is clearing out her closet. And her big storage area in our back room. And her storage area in our library. And probably one or two other storage areas Dylan doesn’t and doesn’t need to know about. She’ll be set up at Barleys from 11-? during the Farmers Market this Saturday September 5th selling some of her curated stock of women’s clothing, shoes, and outerwear. They’re all for sale online too but this way they’re cheaper and she doesn’t have to take them to the post office. Sizes tend towards small and medium, and there will be some bigger kids/teen clothing tossed in too. Tell your friends. Wives, great opportunity to find some quality athleisure. Husbands great opportunity to have a beer while your wife finds some quality athleisure.

Our hearts go out to our friends at Nocterra. Can’t imagine the heartbreak they’re going through. We wish the best to all of them as they go forward.

In Little Brown Jug Beer news, we have absolutely no idea what’s going on. I’m not entirely sure anybody does? We should be able to continue getting and selling Little Brown Jug Beer, but if you want to make sure you get some, I would grab it now.

Good luck and god speed to everyone in the Nocterra family. Come have a beer, take a load off. You deserve it.

Our champions have been crowned! Rick Durham took first place in the Judging Round and Garan Ivory is the People’s Champion!!

Today’s the day! BBQ competition kicks off at 1, judging is at 4. Come by and vote for your favorite BBQ among the competitors and drink some beer!

Our annual bbq competition is tomorrow! Smoke and grill your way into being a champion. Or just come eat some delicious food.

Judging is at 4 o’clock, party gets started at 1. Participants, make sure you’ve got your food there by 4 and ready to put together 4 judged servings, and put the rest in the potluck for the people to vote for the People’s Champion! Beers, BBQ and the best of times, we’ll see you tomorrow!
