The doors are locked and the shop is finally quiet.

They say Minnesota has two seasons:
❄️Winter and 🎣Fishing. While the boats were launching this morning, we were celebrating a different kind of opener here at Lady Sippers.

Today was about the heart behind the sip. It was about seeing friends lean over the Mother’s Day bundle bar to catch up, finding that perfect “I saw this and thought of you” kitchen towel, and watching the realization hit that an NA Mimosa hits just as hard when it comes to celebration :::: minus the fog. 🥂

Whether you were heading to the lake or picking out a last minute gift that actually says something (shoutout to our plant stakes for saying the quiet parts out loud), thank you for choosing to shop small. My mission here is to prove that trying something new (even when it feels a little intimidating) isn’t just possible, it’s delicious.

There is so much soul in this space, from the handmade :::: by me :::: ceramic pieces on the shelves to the other local gifts made with heart. To the people who spend every day pouring into everyone else: it was an honor to pour something for you today.

There’s a statistic that says when you spend $100 at a small business, $68 stays in the community. And at Lady Sippers (where no one is a statistic), it’s just how we do business.

I don’t have staff or a corporate payroll. Instead, your support allows me to pour that money directly back into the other Itasca County businesses that make this place home.

Every dollar possible stays in the “Sip Cycle” to keep this shop growing and our local economy thriving.
