👻 Flask Little Italy Cocktail
4oz rye
1.5oz sweet vermouth
1oz Cynar
1.5oz filtered water
Servings - 2 cocktails
Flask - 8oz
Stir with ice for 30 seconds to chill & dilute then funnel into your flask.

🔮 Flask Rum Old Fashioned
4.5oz dark rum
0.5oz Demerara syrup (1:1)
5 dsh Angostura bitters
1.5oz filtered water
Servings - 2 cocktails
Flask - 8oz

Celebrate Scotchtober at DPS with two single malts from Arran! These unpeated malts are full-flavored & have a good bit of spice (yeah!). The 86 Proof Barrel Reserve shows honeyed notes, stone fruit & soft cinnamon spice on the finish. The 92 Proof 10-year-old Single Malt is mostly aged in ex-bourbon with a portion in first fill oloroso casks. The bourbon casks bring bright orchard fruits, vanilla & citrus while the sherry finishing adds dark fruits, a touch of sweetness & gentle spice. These are both great sippers for the cold-ish weather & with the spice component, a good alternative for the bourbon drinker! 🥃

Fayolle Crozes-Hermitage is a classic Northern Rhône Syrah with dark berry fruit, black pepper, violets, and a great savory component, all with a nice freshness. Fayolle has been making w**e in Crozes-Hermitage for generations, and this is a great bottle for showing off the more elegant, peppery side of Syrah. Classic Rhône at a great value!

I’m excited to find more reasonably priced single agave Mezcals! The Palomo Madracuishe (92 proof) is an excellent sipper with an expressive aroma & mineral, citrus, candied fruits, & pleasant earthy flavors. Complex taste, not so complex of a price! 😉
