Michigan government shutdown would disrupt or halt the sale of Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) hunting and fishing licenses because the point-of-sale system used to purchase them would go offline. The Michigan DNR is advising hunters to buy their licenses before the potential October 1, 2025, shutdown deadline to avoid issues with accessing the system
