This is one of our favorite things about the farm. 🌿

People gathering around tables, working on projects, studying, sharing ideas, having conversations, and building community.

Thank you for making this place so special. 🤍

One of the sweetest parts of hosting—our guest book 🤍
We love looking back on the memories left by those who’ve stayed with us.
It’s always waiting in the living room for the next story to be written.

Room Spotlight: Blooming Meadows 🌸

Another room at Grandma’s House…

This room is inspired by the idea of blooming — like wildflowers in a meadow with the right light and care.

Just as flowers bloom in nature, we believe people do too — through creativity, connection, and time spent together.

The name also holds special meaning, honoring Grandma Marjorie Wiese Kuehl — with “Wiese” meaning meadow.

Here at the farmhouse, it’s our hope that time spent here allows your creativity, your friendships, and your memories to bloom.

We hope this room gives you a peaceful place to rest, create, and grow.

The farm has become such a special place for gathering, creating, and slowing down 🤍🌿

As we look ahead, we’d love to start offering more ways to use the space — and we want your input ✨

If you were to come out here, what would you love to see more of?

• Classes you can attend?
• Opportunities to teach or host something?
• Small group gatherings?
• Events or retreats?

To get ideas flowing, we’ve been dreaming about things like…
Bible studies, journaling, crochet + quilting nights, art workshops, yoga, book clubs, seasonal crafts, women’s circles, pop-ups ✨

But we know there’s so much more…

✨ What would you come here for?
(even just “I’d come for ___” 🤍)

It’s a place for gathering, creating, and sharing time together — where quilts, crafts, and memories are made side by side.

Here at the farmhouse, creativity has always been a way to slow down and connect.

We hope this space gives you room to create something meaningful while enjoying a peaceful stay.

Room Spotlight: Lemonade on the Patio 🍋

Another room at Grandma’s House…

This room is inspired by slow summer evenings — sitting outside after a long day’s work, sipping fresh lemonade as the sun sets over the fields.

Evenings like these were filled with shared meals, laughter with family and friends, and the simple rhythm of farm life — fresh air, fading light, and fireflies beginning to glow.

Here at the farmhouse, those quiet moments of rest and connection have always been part of each day.

We hope this room gives guests a place to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy the beauty of the farm.

Room Spotlight: Lilacs & Fence Posts 💜

Each room at Grandma’s House tells a small story about life on the farm.

Lilacs are known for their hardiness and their ability to bloom again each spring after a long winter. Because of their beauty and resilience, they were often planted along fence lines on early farms.

Here at the farmhouse, lilac bushes grow on either side of the front door — welcoming every guest who arrives.

They remind us of the strength of the generations who built and cared for this farm, and the ones who continue to preserve it today.

We hope this room gives guests a quiet place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the farm.
