We care deeply about how our winemakers steward their vines and the land they farm. The vast majority of our wines come from organic or biodynamic winemakers who have committed to taking care of their plants, soils, and environment in a responsible and sustainable way, and to protect these beautiful places for the benefit of future generations.
On this Earth Day we want to highlight just a few of our many organic and biodynamic offerings:
Branco - Dão
On former 12th century Cistercian vineyards in this mountainous zone, Sara & Antonio went organic 20 years ago, and now biodynamic, too. 15 varieties all spontaneously co-fermented, a pure and clear expression of these rocky hills.
"Anachronie" - Provence
An organic farm on the eastern flank of the Massif de la Sainte-Baume, this old-school deeper style of rosé is so useful for food pairing - dry of course! But with more time on the grape skins the juice gains a little more depth and texture than the usual Provencal
"Rubí" - Catalonia
Founded by a Dutchman tired of the office life and yearning for the mountains! Jeroen's wines are as natural as can be - and the Rubí, his "young" red, is a super pure expression of bright mountain fruit, spicy & stony.
