Prima Vini is ! 🍷✨
Mayor Newell Arnerich stopped by to officially welcome Brandon and John and celebrate Prima Vini’s new home in downtown Danville.
Originally known as Walnut Creek Wine & Cheese, a trip to Italy inspired a new vision that transformed the business into Prima Vini Wine Merchants, expanding from a neighborhood wine shop into a destination featuring curated retail, a wine bar, and wine clubs.
Following the pandemic and the closure of their restaurant, Brandon and John relocated to Dublin, where they spent nearly five years. But with so many loyal customers in the Danville area, they knew they wanted to return closer to their roots. When the opportunity to open in Danville came along, it felt like the perfect fit. As John shared, "This is the store I always wanted."
Prima Vini is passionate about supporting small, organically grown, family-owned wineries, many of whom they've built lasting relationships with over the years. Whether you're exploring one of their two wine clubs, looking for a special bottle, or discovering a new favorite, the team is ready to share their knowledge and passion for great wine.
Brandon and John also shared how much they appreciated working with the Town throughout the process and are excited to once again serve the Danville community.
