La Gloria Cubana is a classic and well-respected cigar brand with a rich history.
• Originally founded in Cuba in 1885, but after the Cuban Revolution, the brand split. Today, there are two versions: the Cuban version (still made in Cuba and distributed by Habanos S.A.) and the non-Cuban version (made primarily in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, distributed by General Cigar Company).

• Non-Cuban (Dominican/Nicaraguan) La Gloria Cubana:
These ci**rs gained major popularity in the U.S. during the cigar boom of the 1990s, especially under the leadership of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo (who later launched his own brand, E.P. Carrillo). They’re known for bold, hearty flavors — often more full-bodied, with notes of spice, coffee, cocoa, and pepper.
