Four days in Dallas gave me time to think, calculate, pray, and make some very big decisions. Huge decisions.

One stop was my to***co wholesaler. The moment I walked through the doors, I knew.

The rich aroma of premium ci**rs... the dim lights... the quiet atmosphere... it just felt like home.

I stepped up to the bar in the smoking lounge and ordered a Blackberry Cosmo Mary. A couple of guest nearby saw it and ordered one too. As I sat there enjoying a cigar, my phone rang. It was the Dalhart Police Department. A gentleman at the bar overheard my conversation. When I got ready to leave, I asked for my tab only to find that this complete stranger had quietly paid it.

I took one last draw from my cigar, smiled, and knew exactly what I needed to do.

I walked back onto the wholesale floor and restocked Rooster's Ci**rs like nothing had ever happened.

So... we're moving forward.
